Select teams from Minor Novice 2004 through midget Sr. 1994 will be formed from interested House League

platers to participate in the North York Select Hockey League (NYHL) and in tournaments. A Tyke 06/05

development team will aslo be organized if there is interest. Select team players also continue to plau on their

teams in the Saturday House League.

Select teams are formed and entered in the NYHL if there is at minimum 13 committed players, with at lease

one to play goal. In addition there needs to be a coaching staff approved by the Faustina Hockey Board.

Select teams are chosen by the team coach using a competitive try-out format. The first practices/tryouts

will be held in late September 2011, the schedule will be available in early September.

Select teams have scheduled in-door ice practices during the season at Longbranch

Arena and the MasterCard Centre.

Players who make Select teams are required to pay a Select team fee in addition to the

House League fee, last season it was $ 400.00.

For the past 10/11 season Faustina entered 11 Select teams in the NYHL, all divisions Novice to

Juvenile(under 21). Faustina hosts a Select team tournament at Christmas.
