Text Box: I opened your site and there on the home page is a photo of the man who got me into hockey. Mr Ridley. Same hat, same jacket as in the picture in my den.
 
He was a family friend and neighbour and as I was not good enuf in the scrum of try out day he made me a goalie. Obviously he knew talent ! as i played allstar for a few years and quit after Ken Hodge who went on to bigger things, whistled 5 past my head one night ! Jeez and no mask.

Great to read how well Faustina still doing.
 
In my day it was an absolute institution and a must to play for.

Text Box: This picture was taken of the Atoms I think in about 1958. I went through the Faustina system having Carl Gordaneer as my coach a couple of times - great guy

Russell Barfoot (his stamp is on the back and he was a neighbour of ours in ETOBICOKE) did the photography on this at the old Lions Arena for the four teams.
